01 · Birth
From the moment you hire me, you have someone to text at 2am. We meet before birth to build your preferences, talk through what actually happens in labor, and practice the comfort measures that will help on the day.
When labor starts, I come to you and stay. Position changes, counter pressure, breathing, hydration, reminders that you are doing this. I help you understand what is being offered so you can make informed decisions, and I make sure your partner is supported too.
02 · Postpartum
The fourth trimester is its own event, and it deserves its own support. I added postpartum care to my practice because so many families are sent home with a newborn and very little follow up.
Postpartum visits are about you as much as the baby. Rest, recovery, feeding, and the questions nobody warned you about. If something needs a clinician, I will say so and help you find the right one.

03 · Feeding
Feeding a newborn is rarely as automatic as people make it sound. As a lactation counselor I help take the mystery, and the stress, out of it. Sometimes that is a latch adjustment. Sometimes it is a plan for pumping, or combination feeding, or knowing when to ask for more help.
There is no judgment here about how your baby gets fed. The goal is a fed baby and a parent who feels okay.
04 · Newborn
Being a newborn care specialist is its own training, separate from doula work. It is focused entirely on the baby in front of you and the first weeks at home: feeding rhythms, soothing, sleep, and knowing the difference between normal newborn behaviour and something worth a call to your pediatrician.
Some families want me overnight so they can actually sleep. Others want daytime help while they find their footing. Either way I am not there to take over. I teach you everything I do as I do it, so the routine keeps working long after I have gone home.
05 · Consultations
Sometimes you do not need a whole package. You need someone in your living room for an hour or two, looking at what is actually happening and helping you sort it out.
That is what this is. I come to you. We can cover feeding, a baby who will not settle, how your space is set up, recovery questions, or a plan for going back to work. You do not have to get a newborn into a car seat to get help, and I get to see your real setup instead of hearing it described over the phone.
